PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (PADI OWSI) is the first rung on the PADI Instructor ladder. This rating allows you to teach all PADI’s core courses and programs through from PADI Discover Scuba Diving to PADI Divemaster.

The PADI Master Scuba Trainer certification (PADI MSDT) is a recognition of your teaching experience. A PADI MSDT is recognised as having at least 25 student diver certifications and holding at least 5 PADI Specialty Instructor ratings.

The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) Staff Instructor rating moves your career as a PADI Instructor up a level.
